SOS! Having a party in 2 weeks in Chicago. Three other CFNY afficiandos attending. None yet aware of this fan site. Does anyone have a copy of these three tunes:

Divine - Native Love
The Kings - This Beat Goes On/Switchin to Glide
Streetband - Toast (can play Toast on this CFNY
site but I'm a computer idiot
so I don't know how to rip
em from that source)

These were on heavy play at CFNY I think about 81-83. I like 192+kbps but will be happy with whatever I get.

I have emailed you a copy of Toast.

I had forgotten that Divine tune until you posted it. High energy. My favorite line in it was \"My native love is restless... I just can't be satisfied\". I don't have the Divine song. I remember Divine in the a smell-a-thon movie where we were given scratch and sniff cards at the door. Can't remember the name of the movie but it was a riotous gag.

I don't have the Kings either but if you get truly desperate, you can buy it on Napster. I wonder if the commercial sites link the two Kings tunes together with a smooth segue just like the Spirit DJs used to spin it? If not, it's not the same.

If it's not too late I have both (Kings Beat/Switchin' ..from Richard Blade Flashback Favorites Vol. 2 comp CD and Native Love on 12\" vinyl, maybe on CD also..will have to look). Can E-mail you both, and will include somethin' extra.
