Marsden does a pretty fair approximation, every Thurs and Fri nights from 7pm to midnight at 94.9fm, which comes in weakly just like those early CFNY days (bought m'self some rabbit ears, which help some).

Last Thursday he played Teenage Head's "Disgusteen"... try hearing that somewhere else. But that's not all. He stopped the CD after the opening spoken-word bit "Nice day for a party, isn't it?" and then he played the bit 4 more times! I think that's even beyond what 'NY used to do.

remember those days when the DJ would read the last played entry on the plastic wrap?

knowing that your favourite tunes weren't being overplayed ... priceless.
