May I suggest...
In my humble opinion you should try:
Leisure Process - A Way You'll Never Be
Pale Fountains - Jean's Not Happening
Intaferon - Baby Pain
New Order - Everything's Gone Green
Soft Cell - Say Hello Wave Goodbye (12\" version)

Another CFNY listener now in the UK.
There are just too many songs played on CFNY in the early 80s to select one and not another so I'll add my 2 cents worth with a couple of suggestions:
Pukka Orchestra-Cherry Beach Express
Spoons-Nova Heart
Nobby Clegg-My Old Man (not the correct title but you know the song and incidently, if anybody knows where I can get a copy please let me know )
Jane Siberry-Map of The World Part II
I'll add some more later

Driving tunes
From personal experience, nothing beats a whole lotta The The when you're driving. I would also recommend \"pleasantly disturbed\" by Simple Minds and \"Glamarous Glue\" by Morrissey.
