Looking for These Tracks
Looking for These Tracks
My girlfriend found this forum last night when I told her I was looking for a couple of tracks. Here are a few that I haven't been able to find, any help would be appreciated.
The Other Ones - We Are What We Are
Lederknacken - Amok ( I know this song is cheesy, but the lyrics are a hoot)
Nash The Slash - 1984, We're An American Band, Born to be Wild (all three are from the American Bandages album I believe)
Kid Creole and the Coconuts - Dancing at the Bains Douches, Broadway Rhythm
Westworld - Psychotech
Richard Strange - International Language
Finally in the request department, I am not sure of the name of the artist but the name of the song I am absolutely certain of it. The song title is \"Real Fashion Reggae Style.\"
I know it is a lot to ask for a first forum posting, but I am willing contribute something to the forum here if there is interest in the following. I would be willing to upload all five volumes of Hardest Hits to a 4shared account I have as well as the soundtrack to Urgh, A Music War. Happy downloading and take care folks.

You're right audiofool that is the name, I knew the last name was Johnson, but the first name was giving me trouble. If you can upload it that would be great. Thanks. Charlie.

Turns out that I cleared it off my old hard drive without saving a copy.
I'll keep trying to find it for you, but in the meantime,

Thanks Barry for The Other Ones and thank you audiofool for your efforts. I appreciate you posting the link for the video at You Tube. To show my gratitude for the kindness of the folks here I am going to put together a little package of old school Alternative classics for your listening and downloading pleasure soon. Thanks all. Charlie.

Thanks SMoKaLoTaPoT, I agree You Tube is a great resource for songs as you have just demonstrated to me. I have been looking for this song for a long time and now I have it thanks to you.

Westworld - Psychotech

Right now, I'm looking for Carole Pope's \"I'm Not Blind\" - a rare solo song from 1987. That one's pretty much impossible to find though!
Oh well. Enjoy these two!

Thanks Barry and I will keep a heads up for that Carole Pope song you want. Charlie.
from carole pope's website
http://www.laventure.net/tourist/rt_disc_carole.htm
This song was available on a couple of releases - the second referred to her website's store, but it doesn't seem to be available there any more. Sounds like this will be a reasonably tough one to find.
1988 - Nothing But A Heartache (RPM RPM-001) [Canada]
Two versions of \"Heartache\" b/w three versions of \"I'm Not Blind.\"
1999 - The Silencer [US/Canada]
An EP containing four songs which Pope wrote for the movie of the same name:
\"The Silencer\"
\"I'm Not Blind\"
\"Fight Another Round\"
\"The Haunting\"
Privately published by Pope and available directly from the Carole Pope Boutique.
