Hi all,
Was pulling out some old CD's, and came across a promo that I had acquired at some time in the mid-90's. The CD is called Mondo Supremo, and was put out by Geffen. I remember picking it up for the great selection: Sloan - "Underwhelmed", The Sundays - "Wild Horses", The Posies - "I Can Dream All Day" and Murray Attaway's "Under Jets".
A little background history: Murray was the vocalist for Guadalcanal Diary, a band who had their "Watusi Rodeo" song played earlier on CFNY. In the 90's Murray put out "In Thrall", his solo CD. Seemingly bucking the trend to play the "single" from the album (as usual, and in this case, the song "Allegory"), CFNY chose instead to play "Under Jets". The chorus still comes to mind on occasion.
Anyway, I thought it kinda rare, or at least awhile since anyone's heard it, so I am offering it up here for anyone looking/longing for it. ENJOY.
