Hoping someone can help me. I am looking for Meryn Cadell's Barbie song. But not the one from the album. The version that played on CFNY was credited as "Barbie Remixed" on a promo CD single. If anyone can supply me with an mp3, it would be much appreciated. I have been looking for this for ages.
Thanks

Scottunknown3.mp3:
On Scott's nerocam site he long ago posted three (then) unknown sound clips - whatever was the third song?
I guessed maybe Don Johnson - someone who's, musically, completely unthought of - to stump so many people!

Okay peoples, here's one that I am totally stuck on who did it. It was a male voice and all I can remember about it was that he was singing -

"So, so, so romantic"

Thanks

The Stunt Chimps remixed Barbie and Meryn came down and redid the vocals. We got shafted when she went off and hired some ponce with big hair to cop it, effectively screwing us. Oh well, she's probably working at starbucks now...

Try:

I was wondering if anyone can help me. Would any one mind sending me (via e-mail -[email protected]) the lyrics to the son "close to you" by nine ways to win and the lyrics "love cascade" by leisure process.
Thanx to anyone who can help.

Probably too late now, but...

"Super Salesman" was by Kevin Ayers

"Town & Country Blues" ("going under" etc) was by Jim Jimminy

Take me by the hand
I will be your man
'Cause that's the way you make me feel
Take me by surprise
Look in to my eyes
And show me that your love is real
Yeah That's the way it has to be 'cause that's
the way I like it......

I wish I had discovered this BBS a long time ago...

Does anyone know these songs? I've been trying to figure out what they are for over a decade:

Every day I touch the sky
I breathe the air and feel alive...

and

Oh no, ain't gonna let it get me down
Happens to everyone
Oh no, ain't gonna let it spoil my day
C'est la vie, that's right, what's done is done.
Laugh it out, I laugh it out...

The first one I've heard a few times. I think the last time I heard it was in the late 80s when Earl Jive came back to do a morning show. I was half asleep and didn't get the title. The second one I think I heard maybe once around 1983 and never since, but it stuck in my mind. Never heard them anywhere else, ever, apart from on CFNY.
