I know that someone, somewhere, has some background on this late80s, early90s local Toronto band that had at least one member on staff at CFNY.
My selfish motivation for seeking information is because I have a very vivid memory of their cover version of 'Warm Leatherette' which completely blew me away at the time. It contained a clever looping sample of the opening to Cabaret Voltaire's 'Don't Argue'(which was sampled yet again by Electronic Dream Factory on their '3' album).
Between Digital Poodle, D.H.I., E.D.F. and Attack Squad, there was a very strong E.B.M. scene in Toronto for a good long while there.

The Stunt Chimps
The Stunt Chimps are Hal Harbour and Dr. Bruce Murphy. The Stunt Chimps are scheduled to appear on the next VVVU Music compilation, due later this year. Both Hal and Bruce appear separately on VVVU Music's East Coast Christmas Sampler I, a not-for-sale compilation of experimental music from Atlantic Canada (2003).
