Searching for song name, help please

I am trying to remeber what the name of a song that has a soft piano melody, and contains the lyrics just for a moment... in somewhat of higher pitched mail voice. I think it is actually on a credit card commercial right now. Its been bugging me for a few weeks and ive been searching my butt off for, so hopefully u guys can help me out.

I tried that one but it wasnt the same song, the song I am talking about seems like it would be straight out of a John Hughes 80's movie. I dont know much but there is a soft piano beat, and the guys voice is high pitched, I heard and immediatley thought 16 candles but I was wrong and Ive been searching a for a while now. Any more suggestions would be helpful.

Do you know more specifically what the commercial was for ? There are a couple of sites on the net that list the tunes used in the adverts.

Actually, after doing a little searching, you don't mean "100 Years" by Five For Fighting, do you? That's not 80's at all, but I think it's used in a credit card commercial.
