Echo Beach every morning at the same time?

Post by JohnG »

I recall a time when every morning when the alarm went off Echo Beach was playing. Since the alarm always went off at the same time, I can only assume they played it at the same time. It was such a nice thing to wake up to.

Those were the days.

On Saturday mornings in the very early 80's, I can remember hearing Jim Reid (JR) play Circus Maximus' The Wind every weekend as I was making my way downtown to the Kitchener Farmers Market around 8:15.

A great way to start off the weekend back then. Years later I found a copy of the LP, much to my chagrin, that track was not indicative of the rest of the album.

Mine was Heaven 17's \"Let Me Go\" on Saturday mornings, while I listened on my walkman, headphones artfully concealed under my hat while downhill skiing every week. :)

Yup. That's a classic P&G tune.

Also, "Mrs. Brown you've got a lovely daughter...."
