Check out Danny Baker on BBC London. They do internet radio webcasts.

I used to listen to his stuff when he was on the Radio One Sunday Morning slot. Including "things that make a loud noise" phone-ins.

Live Earl Jive was annoying at times but very unique and I loved listening to him.

He was funny and unique and gave CFNY an 'edge'.

The Live Earl was like M*A*S*H* and Seinfeld reruns. Great for a year or two, then you just need to rest for a while.

Every time someone funny, unique or with 'edge' has made it onto the 102.1 airwaves the last few years, they haven't lasted long.

Live Earl Jive always gave me the feeling that there was some big "in" joke going on and i was on the "out". What was that whole Tudor (Tooter?) The Dog thing about, anyway? Even so, his show was always fresh and seemed unscripted with LEJ and Bev ad-libbing off each other.
Then there was Alternate Earl (Earl Veale)... he exposed a real mean streak after i won that big 'ol stereo (but that's another story). What ever became of Alternate Earl anyway, i don't see him on the Personalities page?

He's working deep within the bowels of the Corus empire in a computer-type capacity.
