The Stranglers - In Toronto October 21st/04

Hello to all CFNY listeners past and present. If you've read my postings over the years, many of you are aware that I am still in the music business and am currently working at Universal Music. One of the most satisfying things I have been able to do here in the last couple of years is sign some acts to our label. So I'm proud to say that The Stranglers have a terrific new album called 'Norfolk Coast' which is in stores in Canada as of October 12th The band are also playing their first shows here in 10 years with a stop in Toronto on October 21st at the Mod Club Theatre. They will also be doing a live performance on The Edge on Dave Bookman's program on Friday October 22nd at approximately 6:30 pm. There will also be an instore signing at Sam Record Man 347 Yonge Street on Saturday October 23rd at 1 pm. A good opportunity to re-live some memories for many and even get some of that old vinyl signed!

They were in my opinion, excellent, though it might have been more due to the fact that I've always been a fan of theirs.
