Ramones play Club Kingsway

In either 79 or 80 The Ramones played a smashing show at the now torn down bingo hall "Club Kingsway" on the Queenesway across from the old Stelco Plant in Toronto. Just wondered if anyone else remembers that gig? I was right against the one of the PA speakers...the next day in Grade 11 phyisics, I had to excuse myself because I started to freak as I realized that I was completely deaf! I think Steve Blimkie (sp?) opened for them.

Try Googling these three keywords: steve blimkie kingsway
- you should find a clear image of the May 25, 1980 ticket stub for the actual Ramones gig.

As at time of this writing, the ticket stub is hosted at the punkhistorycanada.ca website (a very cool site)
