Speaking of 1991 NMS:

I just found my Digit - Absolute Control Demo tape. Original photocopied liner notes on a Maxell tape. I believe I purchased this at one of their gigs in the early 90's.

There was a very interesting and exciting industrial/synth pop movement happening around that time.

Oh the memories

Funny, but it seems several nights were not quite "right". I know for a fact that in 1992, no one recived anything, save a PA system to the raincoats, and the big prize was going to someone else ... who we all heard who that was ... but it never showed up, and the "grand" prize was never announced. Considering who the 'players' were, it's not a big suprise.

I have the Digit "Absolute Control" demo too and when I have time will rip it to mp3, but it's a cassette and the quality is not great after so many plays and dusty years. I'd sure like a mp3 rip of "Guardian" off the CFNY CD if anyone can post it on SoulSeek or elsewhere?
