You can't see clearly through far-away Eh-eyes...

Post by SEHinton »

Hello All,

I was reading the \"Coolest Ladies of the 80's\" post and the mention of Dalbello triggered some fond memories of a couple of crushes: In that spirit, would anyone know where I might find Dalbello's \"Black on Black\" or National Velvet's \"Change My Mind\"?

Speaking of crushes, I used to love going to the Silvercrown (back in the day of no-photo borrowed ID), and lusting after 'older' women (I was 16, they were 19-25). Silvercrown used to published a top 50 list of songs in 'zines like Nerve: Does anyone have a copy of that list?

Thank you for indulging me,
-Hinton

You are very kind: Thank you very much.

I have spent about a year hunting for a copy (vinyl or cd) of Nat'l Velvet's first album...mostly used shoppes here in Toronto and the occasional garage sale. The only 'finds' so far have been a few Propaganda 12\" singles (Including a version of Dr. Mabuse featuring an epic guitar solo by John McGeogh), and some Dave Howard discs, but that's about it.

Again, thank you!

Wow! All I can say is 'wow' and express my profound thanks.

I have not heard that song in about a decade: I'm overwhelmed with wonderful aural memories.

Thank you,
