Recently, Hedley Jones has primarily turned his talents to education. Working with Rick Halpern, Professor of American Studies at the University of Toronto, he has developed a 400 level course for 2002-2003 year. "Hellhound on My Trail: Living the Blues in the Mississippi Delta, 1890-1945," examining black life and culture in the American South through the medium of the Blues.

Today, Jones keeps his finger on the pulse of the new generation by contributing his "Deadly Hedley Show" to top rated Internet dance station Djshows.com and by frequently spinning a mix of the classics as well as the new, as DJ at various clubs in Toronto's entertainment district.

I retired from the radio and nightclub scene in Toronto in the fall of 2003 and moved to Los Angeles with my partner and mate to pursue my other passion... photography...

We have a studio in Beverly Hills where we do portraits and commercial work...and we travel quite a lot and do shoots on location for different clients...
